This 75 hour course covers the key aspects of the National Electrical Code and the National Fire Alarm Code. It also covers the five basic fire protection goals as well as the most common types of fire alarm systems including the advantages and disadvantages of each. The most common fire alarm components, initiating and notification devices and how each works is reviewed. The proper location of initiating and notification devices will be covered. This course is not required to be approved by Division of Occupational Licensure and is not approved by Division of Occupational Licensure.

The Fire Alarm course will be offered in February 202 with the following schedule.

Fire Alarm                  (Wednesday 5pm-10pm)               75 hrs

All courses may be moved to an online or hybrid format dependent upon guidance from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
